Atlas is a web-based, lightweight requirements management tool that enables you to manage projects in a way that is much more collaborative and flexible than existing requirements management tools. Atlas helps you to quickly take ideas and inspiration in the form of various visual elements, attach those ideas to a Whiteboard, then organize into Plans that can easily be tracked via the Delivery Backlog. It also facilitates easy collaboration with peers so that you can formalize Requirements and then pass those Requirements across to development teams.

Atlas works with your Agile tool of choice by easily allowing you to pull in requirements from other sources via Micro Focus Connect. For more information about how this works, and to download a free 15 day trail, visit Micro Focus Connect on the web.

In summary, Atlas helps business analysts, product managers and other project stakeholders to:

    • Gather and collaborate their ideas using their favorite media (pictures, presentations, documents, videos)
    • Organize and structure those ideas into well-formed requirements
    • Prioritize and plan those requirements into a specific time-frame given their Agile team’s velocity
    • Track the progress of their Agile teams work towards their requirements, independently of their Agile tool of choice
